CitySpace Novo – Artworks Inspired by Warsaw
This collection of artworks was created specifically for the interiors of CitySpace Novo, a modern office space located in Warsaw. The project is my visual interpretation of the city, translated into a series of sculptural paper compositions. Each piece reflects different aspects of Warsaw’s architecture and urban rhythm, forming a cohesive narrative within the interior.
All works were handcrafted from paper, then carefully photographed and presented as high-quality art prints, framed and integrated into the space.

Inspiration
The artworks draw inspiration from various districts of Warsaw, each with its own distinctive atmosphere and architectural identity. Among the featured areas are Śródmieście, Żoliborz, Praga Północ and Południe, Wola, Ochota, Wilanów, and Mokotów. The pieces reflect both iconic landmarks and more subtle urban details, capturing the essence of each neighborhood. This layered approach allows the viewer to experience the city not only through its skyline, but also through rhythms, shapes, and textures that define its everyday visual language.

Context and Integration
The artworks were designed to complement and enhance the interior architecture of CitySpace Novo. In the meeting rooms, the pieces take on a more figurative character, referencing recognizable elements from specific districts. In the corridors and shared areas, the works become more abstract—compositions that echo architectural rhythms, creating a visual dialogue with the space. The collection is not only decorative, but also functional: it brings texture, identity, and a sense of narrative to the work environment, encouraging reflection, inspiration, and a deeper connection with the city outside.

Artistic Process
Each composition begins as a flat sheet of paper, but the creative vision behind it is spatial from the start. I work by hand, often from a loose sketch, shaping forms through cuts and folds. These sculptural structures catch light and shadow, giving depth and rhythm to otherwise flat surfaces. I deliberately avoid modular or mathematical precision – instead, I aim for fluidity and gesture, allowing each form to feel dynamic and intuitive. Though I have an analytical mindset, these works are not calculated – they emerge through a process that is both instinctive and expressive.
