I created this paper illustration entirely by hand, using precise cutting and shaping techniques. The centerpiece of the artwork is a letter 'K', which is one of the symbols of the city of Kraków in Poland.
I've incorporated characteristic elements of Kraków's stunning architecture into the composition, as well as decorative flourishes such as flowers and stars, reminiscent of Stanisław Wyspiański's iconic stained glass in a local church.
My use of a festive color palette and royal themes is inspired by Kraków's rich history as the city of Polish kings. The result is a joyful and exuberant artwork that captures the spirit of this wonderful city.
